Dalia Association, represented by Executive Director Samar Awaad and Communications and Fundraising officer Dalia Abu Lafi, participated in the annual meeting of the Foundations For Peace Network (FFP) in Istanbul between 22 Oct. and 23 Oct 2022.
On the first day of the two-day convention, Dalia Association presented its work in fundraising and grant-making in the Palestinian context over the years, and an overview of our programs at Dalia. In addition to that, it was necessary to talk about the challenges we face while doing our work in Palestine, the obstacles the Israeli military occupation sets in our way, and our efforts in encountering these obstacles.
The convention gave Dalia the opportunity to expand its global network and strengthen our bonds with social justice workers worldwide, in addition to learning from others' experiences in grantmaking and community work in difficult socio-political contexts.
