Yazan Shrouf was born in Al-Yarmouk refugee camp in Syria and currently resides in Ramallah. He has worked in various fields including program coordination, communication, writing, editing, and translation with several local and international organizations focusing on research, development, culture, and arts. These include the A.M Qattan Foundation, the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music, Global Communities, and the Institute for Palestine Studies.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism, Media, and Political Science from Birzeit University, and has several articles and translations published in fields such as politics, political prisoners, solidarity, internet freedom, cyber-attacks, and theater.
Shrouf joined Dalia Association as the Communication and Fundraising Officer. He aspires for an independent and oppression-free Palestinian society.
