Dar Abeer for Heritage

Dar Abeer was established in 2017, led by Abir Issa, an entrepreneur from Hebron who is passionate about Palestinian embroidery. After graduating as an Arabic language teacher, Abir discovered her love for this craft and decided to turn her passion into a successful business.

Dar Abeer is a small workshop that currently employs over 15 women, specializing in designing and crafting traditional products using locally sourced natural leather from Hebron's tanneries. We focus on recycling leather scraps to create new pieces, making our project environmentally friendly and supporting sustainability.

What sets our project apart is the fusion of traditional Palestinian embroidery with modern designs. We directly embroider on natural leather using a variety of colors and patterns. We also offer customized designs based on customer requests, ensuring that each piece is unique and one-of-a-kind.

Through Dar Abeer, we aim to provide high-quality products that blend authenticity, heritage, and contemporary innovation, appealing to modern tastes while celebrating the beauty of Palestinian heritage.
