The Social Change Auction is Dalia Association’s effort to support local community solutions and initiatives in Palestine and to encourage local giving and community solidarity. The event is similar to an auction, except that selected initiatives do a pitch on how each initiative contributes to community development in Palestine, taking into consideration the environmental dimension as well as the social, cultural, and local economy. In return, attendees are welcome to offer donations on spot (live crowdfunding).
Al Mosef App: The first paramedical mobile application in Palestine, that locates citizens and users via GPS technology, in the case they need an ambulance, a doctor, a nurse, laboratory tests, and medical materials. We were able to raise 2310 NIS.
Dawirha Bithlaw (Upcycle and make it beautiful): an environmental community initiative that recycles waste of various kinds, such as gravel, car wheels, plastic, cardboard, wood, and glass, and transforms them into beautiful artwork that is sold in the local market. We were able to raise 8670 NIS.
