Beit Al Karmeh, Dalia's guesthouse in the Old City of Kufor Aqab, hosted an event entitled: Pink Day on Monday the 25th of August.
The event aimed at raising awareness on the importance of the early detection of breast cancer. Dr. Nufuz from the Dunya Women's Cancer center gave a session on the topic, and also showed the participant how to do conduct the self-checkup. The event also included a session on living on a healthy diet.
As we believe in supporting the local economy, as one of the pillars of achieving durable development, the Pink Day included a local bazaar, where women craftworkers from Kufor Aqab displayed their products.
